Tuscaloosa investigators are still looking into a shooting that happened after a fight at a biker club around midnight.
31 year old Teaira Roshone Sherman turned himself in on a first degree assault charge.
Police believe Sherman was involved in a fight at the 'Wheels and Spokes' motorcycle club. But, people at the club say Sherman and five others were kicked off the property. A short time later investigators believe Sherman drove by 20th street and opened fire into a crowd, shooting a 28-year old man in the neck.
Chester Hood was at the biker club where the pre-fight began. "When the fight started inside the building the DJ asked to turn the light on and that's when we went up and found what was going on - we got them out of the building," explained Hood. He says those involved tried to continue the fight in the parking lot, so they were kicked off the property.
Investigators say its unclear whether the victim Sherman allegedly shot on 20th Street was the intended target.
ABC 33/40 learned Sherman was already out of jail on an unrelated assault charge that happened in July, two months ago. According to court documents, Sherman allegedly attacked a woman with a baseball bat during a dispute with the woman's brother outside the Tuscaloosa Police Department.
As of Monday afternoon, Sherman was still in the Tuscaloosa County Jail on the latest charge. A $30,000 bond has been set.
