BIRMINGHAM - AL -

Rival defenses scheme for ways to slow down Amari Cooper and Christion Jones.

Alabama's dynamic duo will have to stay in one place for at least a little while at SEC Media Days.

Cooper, Jones and Landon Collins will accompany coach Nick Saban to the Hyatt Regency Birmingham-Wynfrey next week.

Cooper has been Alabama leading receiver each of the last two seasons. He has 1,736 receiving yards and 15 touchdowns in his Tide career.

Jones is on the watch list for the Paul Hornung Award, which is given to the most versatile player in college football. Last season, he caught two touchdowns, scored another on a kickoff return and two more on punt returns.

Collins is Alabama's top returning tackler. He had 70 stops along with four tackles for loss and two interceptions. Collins returned an interception 89 yards for a score in last seasons win over Tennessee.

Alabama is scheduled to be part of the final session of SEC Media Days, Thursday July 17.
