SAE International employees Jean Broge, Brian Fell, Ryan Gehm, Wayne Silvonic and Patrick Ponticel were honored with a 2014 Azbee Gold Award in the E-Zine category for the Oct. 24 and Dec. 18, 2013 issues of "Vehicle Electrification".
"Vehicle Electrification" is a digital-only magazine that was published bi-monthly in 2013 by SAE International. The magazine provides timely and pertinent information related to the design and engineering of hybrid and electric vehicles and their related technologies and systems across transportation sectors (aerospace, automotive, and commercial vehicle).
The group was honored with the award during a banquet on June 24 in New York City.
Broge is managing editor; Gehm and Ponticel are associate editors; and Silvonic and Pristow are designers for SAE International.
The Azbee Awards are sponsored by the American Society of Business Publication Editors (ASBPE); the competition recognizes the hard work and commitment of business and professional magazine, newsletter, and Web editors and designers. The Gold Azbee award is a prestigious acknowledgement that the magazine issues have met the highest standards of excellence. The Society's contest is extremely competitive, and one of the largest U.S.-business publication competitions.
