Winn-Dixie holding more job fairs

 If you're looking for a job, Winn-Dixie will hold four job fairs this week.  Recruiters will accept applications and conduct on-site interviews in Anniston, Gadsden / Rainbow City, Trussville and Vestavia Hills. It is "strongly encouraged" that you apply at www.winndixie.com/careers before attending one of the job fairs.

Here's a look at where the recruiters for Winn Dixie will be:
  • Tuesday, July 8 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. - Anniston, AL (1408 Golden Springs Road)
  • Wednesday, July 9 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. - Rainbow City, AL (3331 Rainbow Drive)
  • Thursday, July 10 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. - Trussville, AL (465 Main Street)
  • Friday, July 11 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. - Vestavia Hills, AL (3925 Crosshaven Drive)
The grocery stores are trying to fill a number of positions from entry-level to management.  These include cashiers, baggers, deli, bakery, grocery, dairy, meat and seafood departments, and manager-level positions.

    The Alabama Bureau of Investigation’s CyberCrimes Unit arrested a Jacksonville man Tuesday for possession of child pornography.ABI officers served a search warrant at the home of 49-year-old William Franklin Harper.
