Superintendent to host open door meetings

Birmingham City schools' superintendent Dr. Craig Witherspoon is holding open door meeting with the public. According to a school board spokesperson, Dr. Witherspoon has initiated a series of "open Door" meetings during June and July in an effort to foster open communication and conversation.

The schedule for the meetings:
 June 19, 2014 8:00 a.m. - 9:30 a.m.
July 2, 2014 3:30 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.
July 17, 2014 8:00 a.m. - 9:30 a.m.
July 30, 2014 3:30 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.

The meeting will be held at the Birmingham Board of Education Administration building. It is located at 2015 Park Place North. You do not have to register or schedule an appointment. Sign up will begin 30 minutes before the meeting time, and will be suspended when all the slots are filled.
