TRUSSVILLE, Ala. -- Authorities have obtained a warrant for the arrest of Luke Bigham in connection with Wednesday's five-vehicle crash on Main Street in Trussville.

Bigham, who is known for his role as "10-year-old Ricky" in the 2006 movie "Talladega Nights:  The Ballad of Ricky Bobby," is accused of aggravated driving and causing the wreck that injured himself and two others, Trussville police said.

According to Chief Don Sivley, Bigham was allegedly traveling at speeds in excess of 80 mph when he struck another vehicle, sending his Lexus GS350 careening down the road in an uncontrolled spin and causing damage to three additional vehicles. The speed limit on Main St. is 35 mph.

Of the three people injured, Bigham was the only one transported to a hospital for treatment.

Sivley said the former child actor is expected to surrender to police, at which time he will be charged with one count of reckless driving, a misdemeanor. His bond will be set at $1,000.

Sivley said Bigham didn't exhibit any signs of being under the influence of alcohol or drugs immediately following the accident.
