This week's Crime Stoppers unsolved homicide case centers around a cold case from 2011. Winston Marsh's body was found inside a gas station.
Right before he collapsed, someone took something from his pockets. Police need more information, and that's why they're calling on you.

"I'm Birmingham Police Chief A.C. Roper.

This is a case that has a lot of questions. Who shot and killed Winston DeWayne Marsh? It was May 9, 2011, when he was killed.

That night, officers were called to the shell station on Lomb Avenue Southwest. When they got there, Marsh was sitting behind the bullet proof glass at the cashier's station. He had been shot in the leg and later died.

Several witnesses told us they heard one gunshot and saw Marsh running into the gas station. Another witness saw him run from an alley behind the station. Moments after Marsh collapsed, someone ran in and took something from his pockets.

Our questions are simple. Who was that person? Is he the suspect or is another person responsible for killing Marsh? We need to lock up whoever caused this. We want to make sure they never kill again, but we cannot do it without someone getting the courage to call.
