Family pleads for public's help to find missing mother

Posted: Updated:
A month after 23-year-old Kierra Stubbs' disappearance, her family is pleading for the public's help.

Relatives haven't seen the Birmingham mother of two since April 24. They say she met a man, who she had known for a month, outside a Boost Mobile Store on 3rd Avenue West. They say she asked him for money for brakes, got inside his car and was never seen again.

Birmingham Police tell ABC 33/40 the man is considered a person of interest and has been interviewed. Detectives have also watched the store's surveillance video, according to the department's spokesperson.

Still, the family has no answers. Hundreds of flyers with Stubbs' picture are posted throughout Ensley, Wylam, Fairfield and other areas.
Stubbs was last seen in a Burgundy Chrysler 200. She is 5'3, 145 lbs.

If you have any information, please call Birmingham Crimestoppers at (205) 254-7777.
