Body of missing Ragland teen found in lake

HIGHLAND LAKE - AL - Police have recovered the body of the missing 15 year old from Ragland. Search crews found the teenager's body on Highland Lake in Blount County around 5:30 p.m. Sunday.

A search has been underway on the lake since Thursday morning. That's when the teenager who was inspecting storm damaged decks for a boat company fell into the water. Crews from Trussville, Cullman County, Etowah County and Blount County were focusing the search around the docks. Dive teams had gone into the water. There was also dragging and the use of sonar equipment to help find the teen.

Police have not released the teenager's name.

    The family of Justin Sollohub took him off of life support three years ago Monday. "He lived from the 24th to the 25th for the organ donation," Jeniffer Morris said about her son. "Organ donation needs to be important to everybody. We never know, when there's somebody in our [family], when it hits home, that somebody needs an organ.
