Oxmoor Road exit on I-65 North closed due to tractor-trailer accident

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. -- Authorities have closed the Oxmoor Road exit on Interstate 65 North after an accident involving a tractor-trailer carrying a large excavator.

The incident happened just before noon and the exit remains shut down while crews work to clear the scene.

There are no reports of injuries.
