Investigators questioning several in connection with Birmingham's Enon Ridge fires

Posted: Updated:
BIRMINGHAM-AL -

Investigators are continuing their search for a suspect accused of setting seven houses on fire in Birmingham's Enon Ridge community.

The blazes began the end of February, and the latest happened Wednesday on Fourth Street North. No one has been injured in the fires, and most of the houses were vacant.

"We need information," said Birmingham Fire and Rescue Battalion Chief C.W. Mardis. "The only way for us to get that information is for residents to be vigilant and keep their eyes and ears open."

If you have any information on the fires, contact Crime Stoppers at 205-254-7777. You will remain anonymous.
