LAWTON, Okla. (AP) - A judge ordered a Lawton teenager to stand trial on charges that he killed his younger brother and father after a co-defendant testified that he saw the teen suffocate the 14-year-old boy.

Eighteen-year-old Thorsten Rushing is charged with first-degree murder in the Jan. 20 deaths of 50-year-old Uwe Rushing and 14-year-old Stefan Rushing. He has pleaded not guilty and was ordered to stand trial after testimony Wednesday by 19-year-old co-defendant Ethan Thompson and two other co-defendants.

Thompson said he hid in a closet during the shooting and emerged to see Thorsten Rushing suffocating Stefan Rushing because the boy had continued moving after being shot twice in the head.

Thompson said he's been offered a plea deal of life in prison with the possibility of parole in exchange for his testimony.
