Mad Hatters Luncheon

Mad Hatters Luncheon

A FUN AND INSPIRING WAY TO RAISE MONEY IS TO DONNE A HAT AND HAVE A DELICIOUS LUNCH.

That's what happens at the Mad Hatters Luncheon put on by the American Cancer Society.

This week I had the honor of emceeing the event at The Club.

First there was a parade of hats contest. Very creative women put on their best home made hat. The Easter Basket hat and the Christmas had to be my favorites... They were huge and full of holiday cheer.

Then Gus Meyer provided the clothes for the fashion show....

Beautiful spring fashions were worn by cancer survivors. It was so inspiring watching them glide across the stage, looking healthy and happy. One sweet lady had been cancer free for eleven years. That's what the day was all about, celebrating life!

If you get a chance to go next year, please do so. You won't want to miss the fun and fashion, not to mention the orange rolls!

God Bless!!!
