Crime Stoppers April 1: Birmingham business robbed; Pinson construction equipment stolen

BIRMINGHAM BUSINESS ARMED ROBBERY:

Detectives need you to help identify a suspect wanted for robbing a Birmingham business on Pike Road February 2.

It happened at Happy Corner Grocery, and pictures of the suspect and his vehicle are posted to the right of this story.

Police said the suspect robbed the store and held the clerk and a customer at gunpoint.

He left in an unknown direction with an undetermined amount of cash.

PINSON CONSTRUCTION EQUIPMENT STOLEN:

Two people are accused of stealing a $60,000 Kubota Excavator from Pike's Plumbing and Gas on Pinson Valley Parkway February 7.

Pictures of the vehicle they were driving are posted to the right of this story.

If you have any information about the suspects, contact Crime Stoppers immediately. It's unclear whether the suspects intended to use the equipment or sell it.
