New High-Octane Shoot-em-up Splatter-fest Movie Campaign Launches on Indiegogo

Posted: Updated:
The Huk brothers release yet another of their high-energy video-game like splatter-fest movies “Conrad the Bavarian”

Sasbach, Germany – 22 March 2014. Introducing “Conrad the Bavarian” an epic splatcom, or splatter comedy in the spirit of “machete” meets “Inglorious Bastards.” This grindhouse flick will be released totally free on YouTube, and the producers are seeking assistance from their fans on Indiegogo to get it created and in the hands of the viewers.

The story takes place in Shloss Bellavue in the heart of Germany. Beneath lies Castle Wolfenstein, where old Hitler is setting up a place to retire. Unfortunately for the furor, the house of his choice is in the small and peaceful town of Sasbach — residence of famed Nazi killer Conrad the Bavarian!

After a failed attempt to take over the house by ClawFinger, one of Hitler’s henchman, the furor occupies the town. He declares war on Conrad and the residents of Sasbach. Conrad is not one to take this lying down so he gathers his weapons and fellow Nazi-killers and the blood-bath begins!

“We want to show our fans something really spectacular,” commented Robin Huk, producer, “and as true kids of the 80′s, my brother Nicolas and I knew the Wolfenstein theme would be a big hit. Anyone who had a computer in the early 1990′s will remember the first real first person shooter game — Castle Wolfenstein. Our movie is made in homage to this great game.”

The film will feature a truly satisfying and comical orgy of destruction. There are many elements that create this unique production, such as multiple heroes, magical Nazis, Zombies and even Eva Braun gets into the action. Any fan of the splatcom genre will love Conrad.

Conrad the Bavarian is currently in pre-production pending the full funding on Indiegogo. The team is attempting to raise $75,000 in order to ensure the best possible results. The funds will be put toward hiring the cast, acquiring the best HD equipment, pre-production, filming and post-production special effects. When completed, Conrad will be uploaded to YouTube and shared with the world.

Contributors to the Indiegogo campaign will receive a set of perks commensurate with their level of donation. From a simple thank you up to signed movie posters and special director’s cuts to a listing as a producer and even a photographic appearance in the film. This is a great opportunity for fans of the splatter comedy to get involved and help create something unique, fun and thrilling.
