TUSCALOOSA, Ala. -- Less than a month after five people were arrested for online prostitution, Tuscaloosa police have arrested four more suspected escorts on solicitation charges.

According to a release, the latest undercover operation was conducted over two days beginning Tuesday and targeted internet escorts soliciting their illicit services on multiple websites. In two different incidents at two separate motels off McFarland Boulevard, officers arrested two suspects who were allegedly cohorts in illegal prostitution.

Two Birmingham women -- Kathleen Taylor Gunter, 21, and Haley Elizabeth Rugg, 25 -- were arrested in a room together on March 4 around 6:45 p.m.

Two Alexander City women -- Denissia Quintera Mitchell, 25, and Sheavonn Dominique Young, 27 -- were arrested the following day around 11 a.m.

All four women have been charged with one count of solicitation of prostitution.

On Valentine's Day, police arrested five women from four different states including Alabama, Georgia, Louisiana and Florida on similar charges.
