A 16 year old Ensley teenager remains in the Jefferson County Jail, charged with three counts of attempted murder, shooting into an occupied vehicle and shooting into an unoccupied building.

Jefferson county sheriff's detectives say Jacorria McDaniel admitted to them she fired shots at a car as it drove by. She also told detectives where she had hidden the gun following the shooting. No one was injured. McDaniel's bonds total $235,000.

The incident happened Saturday afternoon, February 8. Deputies answered a call of shots being fired in the 7400 block of Canada Avenue in the Edgewater community. One of the victims told deputies that McDaniel is the girlfriend of their cousin. According to the victim, there is an ongoing feud because the cousin believed they had stolen heroin and cash from him.
