Russia Men's Olympic Hockey Team Ousted

Perhaps Russia's biggest disappointment to date in the Olympics came today.

Their hockey team is finished. The Russians were eliminated from hockey competition when the men's team lost to Finland. The three to one loss crushed the Russians' dreams of winning hockey gold in front of their own fans.

The last time Russian men's hockey won gold was 22 years ago.

Spoiler alert!

The U.S. Hockey team advanced to the semi finals.  And, team U.S.A. is on top in the medal count -- followed by Russia and the Netherlands.

Hot Pockets Recall

Nestle decided to voluntarily recall two Hot Pockets products. "Philly Steak" and "Croissant Crust Philly Steak and Cheese."

The products may have been affected by a recall of almost nine million pounds of beef products.

The USDA said the beef was not fit for human consumption.  No illnesses have been reported.

Confederate Flag Georgia Plates

The Confederate battle flag will appear on a specialty license plate in Georgia.

The state's division of the Sons of Confederate Veterans requested the new plate.  A spokesman for the group says it means no offense, but people have a right to commemorate their heritage.

Georgia's governor says he was unaware of the plate.

The Southern Christian Leadership Conference calls it "reprehensible."

National Guard Funeral Home "Selfie"

The National Guard soldier who posted this tasteless photograph is no longer on honor guard duties.  She has also received death threats.

The picture shows a dozen soldiers around a casket with the phrase, "We put the fun in funeral - your fearless honor guard from various states."

The photograph of the empty casket was posted from a soldier in Wisconsin.

Now, the National Guard bureau is tracking down the others pictured.
