Wallace State crowns new queen

Catee Moss has been named the 2014 Miss Wallace State.  The paralegal student and social work major was crowned Sunday afternoon on the Hanceville campus.

She is the daughter of Cristy and Paul Jeter of Hayden and Richard Moss of Andalusia. Moss also won the swimsuit portion of the pageant.  Moss will represent the school in June at the Miss Alabama pageant at Samford University.  This is a preliminary for the Miss America Pageant.

Tahauny Cleghorn, 20, of Cullman, was named the first alternate and tied in the talent portion with Brittany Robinson, 21, of Sylacauga, who was named the second alternate. Andrea Micelli, 20, of Gotha, Fla., was named the third alternate and Casey Capps, 20, of Bremen, was named the fourth alternate.

Moss receives a scholarship for tuition and fees to Wallace State for one year for winning the pageant. All contestants received a cash scholarship.
