People celebrate Valentine's with weddings, tattoos and singing

BIRMINGHAM - AL -

Some people might call it cliche.

Timothy and Megan Davis call it something else.

"Perfect," Timothy said. "It don't get no better."

The Davis's were one of 11 couples, Valentine's Day, who tied the knot at Vulcan Park and Museum.

"Spending our life together," Megan said. "The future with each other...the rest of our lives," Timothy said.

A moment anything but typical.

Another unique Valentine's tradition...tattoos?

One man did not want to be shown, but agreed to let us see him getting his newest ink, courtesy of Skinworx in Pelham, which was a candy heart that read "Hug Me."

But, perhaps, the sweetest valentine came from Daniel Hipps and his group of singers from the Voices of the South Barbershop Chorus. The organization was all over Birmingham, Friday, delivering "singing valentines."

Hipps stopped by Johnny Rockets at the Summit delivering a special singing valentine to his girlfriend, Morgan.

Proving Valentine's Day doesn't need to be flowers or chocolates or cards. It can be anything. Just as long...as it's from the heart.
