BIRMINGHAM - AL -

Stolen vehicles lead Birmingham police to a wanted man with six outstanding felony warrants.

31 year old Brandon Moore was arrested at the Sun Suites Inn on Lakeshore Saturday morning. He was wanted on several charges including burglary, robbery and sex offender registration notification act. He now faces receiving stolen vehicle charges after a stolen Jeep Cherokee and Lexus at the motel lead police to him.

Police say when they went to Moore's room, a woman answered the door. 24 year old Kersta Lesieur is charged with possession of a controlled substance.

Police say the Jeep was stolen in November and the Lexus was taken in December. They believe Moore and Lesieur are responsible for a rash of vehicle thefts in Birmingham's Southside.
