Posted: Updated:

The case of a Birmingham woman charged with murder in the shooting death of a mother of three after an Iron Bowl watch party will be sent to a Shelby County grand jury.

Adrian Laroze Briskey was charged with fatally shooting 36-year-old Michelle Shepherd in November 2013 at the Summerchase at Riverchase apartments in Hoover.

Briskey and her attorney, John Robbins, were present Wednesday for a preliminary hearing Wednesday at the Shelby County Courthouse. Robbins told ABC 33/40 he waived the hearing because he had enough information to not have to bring forth a witness at this time.

Robbins says there is no date set for forthcoming court proceedings.

Briskey was released from jail on a $75,000 bond.
