UPDATE: Body found in ditch on Warrior-Trafford Road

A body was discovered in a ditch along Warrior-Trafford Road at 8 a.m. Monday. The Jefferson County Sheriff's Office says it appears the person died from natural or accidental causes.

Warrior police responded to the initial call near Faucett Driver. Paramedics pronounced the person dead on arrival. Now, detectives and the coroner are on their way to Warrior-Trafford Road.

The Sheriff's Office says the victim had health problems and may have died for accidental or natural causes. Investigators have ruled out being struck by a car.
