Posted: Updated:

An overnight fire leaves at least ten Homewood residents displaced.

The fire started just before midnight in the Lakeshore Garden Apartments. Investigators say four apartments were severely damaged.  Six other apartments in the building were left with smoke and water damage.

ABC 3340 crews on the scene talked with Homewood Fire Chief John Bresnan, who said, "We believe everybody was evacuated from the building and so far we haven't had any injuries."

The investigation into what started the fire is ongoing.
