2014 BCS Championship: Fans to hold airport send-off with reverse Tiger Walk for Auburn's trip to Pasadena

Christmas has come and gone and the second-ranked Auburn football team is now gearing up for its cross-country trip to Pasadena for the 2014 BCS National Championship Game against top-ranked Florida State on January 6.

The Tigers will board chartered planes to California on New Years Eve at the Montgomery Regional Airport, where Auburn fans are expected to hold a reverse Tiger Walk, seeing their team off to the West Coast.

The event is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. and last until noon and fans will have one final opportunity to wish the Tigers luck as they continue final preparations for the BCS title game against the Seminoles.

Fans will participate in a reverse Tiger Walk at Montgomery Regional Airport December 31, 2013 to see the Auburn football team off to Pasadena, Calif. for the 2013 BCS National Championship Game against Florida State. (Photo courtesy of Todd Van Emst)
