Hoover police: 2 suspects in Inverness CVS holdup 'likely' involved in 2 Tuscaloosa robberies

Posted: Updated:

The Hoover Police Department is looking for two suspects in an early-morning, armed robbery at an Inverness CVS Monday, Capt. Jim Coker said

According to Coker, 911 dispatchers received a call of a robbery at the store around 12:44 a.m. and the two suspects, both black males, reportedly held the employees at gunpoint before fleeing the scene.

No one was injured in the incident. Details of what was stolen wasn't immediately made available.

One suspect was wearing all-black clothing, a hoodie and a black and yellow hat while the other wore black pants, a yellow shirt and a blue hat. If you have any information regarding this case, please contact Hoover police at 205-444-7608 or Crime Stoppers at 205-254-7777.

Over the weekend, two Tuscaloosa-area CVS stores were robbed and police say "it's likely" all three incidents are connected. Surveillance photos of the suspects entering one of the stores on Saturday can be seen below. Click the image to enlarge.
