The Sugar Plum Shop

Posted: Updated:

During the holidays, some parents may feel powerless about the fact that their child is spending time in the hospital, but Children's of Alabama and the Birmingham Automobile Dealers Association are bringing Christmas to the hospital with the Sugar Plum Shop.

The Sugar Plum Shop toy drive for Children's of Alabama is an in-hospital holiday toy store for inpatients and their families who spend the holidays at the hospital. Hospital staff and volunteers build a toy store in the hospital and invite parents to shop – free of charge – for gifts for their patient and their other children.

The Birmingham Auto Dealers Association makes it easy for you to drop off toys between now and December 18th at more than 25 dealerships in the Birmingham area.

Participating Dealerships:

Adamson Ford, Birmingham Automobile Dealers Assoc., Benchmark CJDR, Brannon Honda, Crown Automobile Company, Crown Nissan, Edwards Chevrolet (downtown & 280), Ernest McCarty Ford, Fiat of Birmingham, Hoover Toyota, Jim Burke Automotive, Jim Skinner Ford, King Acura, Land Rover of Birmingham, Long Lewis Ford Lincoln, Moore Nissan, Royal Automotive, Serra Kia, Tameron Honda, Tameron Hyundai, Tom Williams Audi Porsche, Tom Williams BMW, Tom Williams Lexus, Tom Williams MINI, Town & Country Ford (Bessemer & Pell City)
