FBI agents arrest Jasper man for murder in Georgia

FBI agents have arrested a Jasper man in connection with a murder in Georgia.  Carl Evan Swain, 41, was arrested just before 10:00 a.m. Friday morning.  Richard Schwein, Jr., Special Agent in Charge of the FBI Birmingham division, says Swain was arrested for murder on a government reservation. 

The alleged incident happened at Fort Steward Army Base in Fort Stewart, Georgia. The arrest was made without incident by members of the North Alabama Safe Streets Task Force.  He was not armed at the time of the arrest.
