Police have identified the man accused of the Thursday morning home invasion on Windsor Drive in the Alberta community as 37-year-old Bobby Jermaine Stine, of Tuscaloosa.

Stine is charged with one count of burglary, sodomy and attempted rape, said Sgt. Brent Blankley in a statement released Friday.

The arrest was made after a 61-year-old woman was attacked in her home
shortly after 7 a.m.
The victim says, Stine knocked on her door and forced his way in after she opened the door.
Tuscaloosa police say Stine physically and sexually assaulted the victim. He also stole money from the home before he fled the scene.

The victim was treated at DCH for non-life threatening injuries.

Tuscaloosa police and the United States Marshal's Task Force arrested Stine later in the day in the 900 Block of 24th Avenue East. Stine remains in the Tuscaloosa County Jail on a $150,000 bond.
