14-Month Investigation Ends With Three Arrests

TUSCALOOSA COUNTY - AL -

The West Alabama Narcotics Task Force agents arrested three suspects Thursday to close out a 14-month long investigation.

Narcotics agents began investigating back in September of last year when they seized a large quantity of Spice (synthetic marijuana) from the suspects. The spice was sent to the Alabama Department of Forensic Sciences to be analyzed for illegal substances. Agents obtained warrants on the suspects and arrested Naseer Al-Labani, Mohammed Al-Labani and Stevie Cammon on Thursday. During the arrest, agents recovered more Spice, Hydrocone, and $15,000.00 in cash.

Naseer Al-Labani was arrested on East Hargrove Road. He was charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of a drug paraphernalia. He was placed in the Tuscaloosa County jail pending a $20,000 bond. Mohammed Al-Labani was arrested on East Hargrove Road. He was charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was placed in the Tuscaloosa County jail pending a $20,000 bond. Stevie Cammon was arrested on Elm Street. He was charged with two counts of possession of a controlled substance and one count of certain persons forbidden to possess pistol. He was placed in the Tuscaloosa County jail pending a $35,000.
