New Jersey mall opening for first time since gunman opened fire, then killed himself

Paramus, NJ -

Workers are returning to New Jersey's largest shopping mall today, two days after a man fired shots inside and then killed himself.

The Garden State Plaza in Paramus was closed after Monday night's shooting, and remained closed Tuesday as investigators did a thorough search of the property.

Retailers and their employees will get their stores ready for customers, who can enter at 10 o'clock this morning.

Authorities say 20 year old Richard Shoop of Teaneck, NJ killed himself with the same weapon he used at the mall and had left a note with his family suggesting he would harm himself. More than 200 people held a vigil for the gunman last night.
