I took a walk today around Star Lake in our neighborhood.   The swans, geese and ducks seemed to be celebrating the gorgeous fall weather.  It is a real treat after the sweltering summer and before the icy days ahead to get out and get a breath of fresh air.  I encourage you to take a walk this week before the leaves fall.  Don't miss the vibrant colors.  Exercise and relaxation are a great way to stay healthy.   We just turned the pages of the calendar from October which is breast cancer awareness month.   We are quickly heading into the holidays.  There will be preparation for Thanksgiving and shopping for Christmas and then before you know it we will be ringing in the new year. 

    So as part of a way to stay healthy I encourage you to get outside even if it's for a few minutes to enjoy the crisp cool days and the beautiful blue skies.
