(AP) -- For the third time in four games, Samford (6-2, 4-0 Southern Conference) faces a team that runs the option offense.

The Citadel (2-6, 2-4) ranks second in the conference in rushing offense with an average of 275.4 yards per game. Samford has struggled at times to stop the run this year, giving up 192.4 rushing yards per game.

This is the third of four consecutive road games for Samford, which currently leads the Southern Conference by a half-game over Chattanooga and Wofford.
