Samford football continues to climb the national rankings.

The Bulldogs beat No. 12 Wofford over the weekend and jumped seven spots in the Sports Network poll, from 22nd to 15th, and entered the Coaches poll for the first time this season, at No. 19.

It's the first time Samford has been ranked in both polls since 1993.

The Bulldogs are 6-2 overall and 4-0 in the Southern Conference after their 34-27 win at Wofford. They're the only undefeated team in league play.

Samford plays at The Citadel on Saturday. Kickoff is scheduled for 1 p.m.
