Matchup:  Arkansas (3-4, 0-3 Southeastern Conference) at No. 1 Alabama (6-0, 3-0)

Time:  6 p.m. (ESPN)

Line: Alabama by 28 1/2.

Series record: Alabama leads 13-8 (16-7 before forfeited or vacated games).

WHAT'S AT STAKE

Alabama is trying to keep rolling toward a showdown with No. 6 LSU after winning its last three games by an average of 33.2 points. Arkansas and first-year coach Brett Bielema are seeking their first SEC win and to rebound from a 52-7 loss to No. 11 South Carolina. They're on a four-game skid.

KEY MATCHUP

Arkansas QB Brandon Allen against Alabama's defense. Allen was 4-of-12 passing for 30 yards with an interception against South Carolina. The Tide is second nationally in scoring defense and has allowed just one touchdown in the last four games, but does have a young secondary.

PLAYERS TO WATCH

Arkansas:

RB Alex Collins. He's the only freshman in FBS averaging 100 rushing yards per game. Collins has run for 720 yards, while Jonathan Williams has 564. Those two will have to contend with Alabama's powerful front seven. The Tide has allowed a league-low two rushing touchdowns and 82 yards per game on the ground.

Alabama:

LB C.J. Mosley. Mosley's 48 tackles has doubled-up anybody else on the team. He's the unquestioned leader of the defense and a key figure in both run and pass defense, making him an important part of containing Collins and Williams.

FACTS & FIGURES

The Razorbacks are the only team in the nation to face four straight teams ranked in the preseason Top 10. The brutal schedule has led to losses to Texas A&M (45-33), Florida (30-10) and South Carolina (52-7). ... The Tide's 52-0 win last season was the sixth in a row over Arkansas. The average score during that stretch is 39.8-15.5. ... Alabama has allowed an average of 11.5 first downs over the last four games. ... This will be Bielema's 100th game as a head coach. He has a career mark of 71-28, six more wins incidentally than 'Bama's Nick Saban had when he reached that milestone.
