A West Virginia woman accused of cashing retirement checks belonging to two Jasper women who have been missing since 2003 arrived in Alabama Wednesday to face forgery charges.

Wanda Kiser, 61, of Sommersville, W. Va., was extradited to Alabama to face 10 counts of forgery after she allegedly cashed checks belonging to 105-year-old Mary Cobb and 84-year-old Wynona Delvecchio. Authorities said Kiser checked the women out of a Walker County nursing home in 2000. They were reported missing in 2003.

The plane used to transport Kiser to Alabama landed around 3 p.m. She was immediately hand-cuffed as she stepped off the aircraft.

ABC 33/40 reporter Bryant Somerville will have more on this story on the news at 5 and 6 p.m.
