Friday Night Blitz: Week 6 lineup of high school football coverage

For the second straight week, Friday Night Blitz will feature the top-ranked team in the state in the Blitz Game of the Week as Hoover travels to take on a hot Bessemer City team.

The Bucs (5-0) are coming off a 17-7 victory over Vestavia Hills while Bessemer City (5-0) enters the matchup after routing Woodlawn 50-0. Mike Raita and Jeff Sentell will be live from Bessemer to discuss the Class 6A, Region 5 clash, as well as other pivotal games during Blitz Gameday. The show will air live on air and online beginning at 6:15 p.m.

Check out the other week six matchups to be highlight during Friday Night Blitz beginning at 10:20 p.m. on ABC 33/40.
