West Virginia tops Playboy's 2013 Top 10 Party School List

Playboy magazine today announced the release of its 2013 Top 10 Party Schools list, and West Virginia University sits atop the rankings at number one. 

The Pac 12 Conference has three schools on the list, the most of any conference represented, while the Big 12, the SEC and the ACC all have two schools ranked. Wisconsin is the lone Big 10 university.

The top 10 was determined by magazine editors who used data from resources including the National Center for Education Statistics, the NCAA, and the US Economic Census, as well as feedback from millions of Playboy fans on social media.

Virginia dropped out of the rankings after its No. 1 ranking in 2012.

Playboy's 2013 Top 10 Party Schools list (conference):

1.      West Virginia University (Big 12)

2.      University of Wisconsin (Big 10)

3.      University of Colorado (Pac 12)

4.      University of Southern California (Pac 12)

5.      Florida State University (ACC)

6.      University of Texas (Big 12)

7.      Louisiana State University (SEC)

8.      University of Georgia (SEC)

9.      Arizona State University (Pac 12)

10.    University of Maryland (ACC)
