Friday Night Blitz: Week 5 lineup of high school football coverage

Vestavia Hills rode its wave a momentum into week four last week, knocking off Gardendale 35-7 in the Blitz Game of the Week. The Rebels (4-0) will face its toughest challenge to date Friday when it travels to square off with rival Hoover, the top-ranked team in Class 6A and reigning state champions.

The Bucs cruised to its fourth win of the season with a 56-14 thrashing of Northridge, setting up a battle of two undefeated Over the Mountain teams with Vestavia Hills in this week's Blitz Game of the Week.

Mike Raita and Jeff Sentell will break down the matchup and many others from around the state during Blitz Gameday, which will be live from the Hoover Met. Watch it on air or online here.
