Northport police are requesting the public's assistance in identifying two suspects wanted in connection with an attempted carjacking on Tuesday.

Investigators say two black males approached a 91-year-old woman in the 5700 block of McFarland Boulevard just as she entered her vehicle. One of the suspects then demanded the woman to "move over" before grabbing her in an attempt to pull her out of the car, injuring her hand in the process. The woman began screaming and both men retreated to a nearby vehicle before fleeing the scene.

Anyone with information regarding the identities of the suspects is asked to please call Tuscaloosa County Crime Stoppers at 205-752-STOP (7867) or text "Tusc" and your tip to CRIMES (274637). A cash reward will be given to anyone who provides information leading to an arrest.
