AUBURN, Ala. (AP) — Auburn will open the 2014 season against Arkansas and visit Kansas State.

The Tigers face the Razorbacks on Aug. 30 in their first opening game against a Southeastern Conference team since a 46-13 win over Mississippi in 1995. Auburn released the schedule on Wednesday.

The season includes a Sept. 20 visit to Kansas State, the first since 1978.

Auburn's rotating SEC East opponent is South Carolina on Oct. 25 at Jordan-Hare Stadium. The Tigers swept the regular season and SEC championship game meetings during the 2010 national title season.
