Two people have been taken into custody after the Tulsa County Multi-jurisdictional Task Force served search warrants at a Midtown Tulsa home Tuesday evening.

According to Tulsa Co. Sheriff's Captain Bill McKelvey, authorities recovered "multiple" guns, narcotics and 3 lbs. of high explosives that were stable, as well as 30 grams of high explosives that were extremely unstable.

Because of that, the Tulsa Bomb Squad was called in to dispose of the unstable explosives. The scene was cleared just before 9 p.m.

The multi-jurisdictional task force consists of Tulsa County deputies and two federal agents.

McKelvey said the investigation into the home has been ongoing for about two months.

According to a booking report, Brian Larkins, 40, has been charged with possession of a bomb/explosives by a felon, manufacturing explosives, possession with 1000 ft. of a school/park and other firearms charges.

A booking report reveals authorities recovered "30 grams of TAPT, 13.57 lbs. of high explosive det cord, 18 guns, a baggy of Ice and $1,435," on Larkins.

He is being held in the Tulsa Co. Jail on more than $100,000 bond.

The Tulsa Co. Drug Task Force served a second search warrant at a home in the 1500 block of N. Florence Pl. just before 5 p.m. and took 32-year-old Jessica Cason into custody.

She faces multiple drug charges and is being held on a $15,250 bond.

McKelvey said he expects federal charges will also be filed for the explosives.
