Crime Stoppers September 28: Help find who killed Christopher Johnson

This week's Crime Stoppers unsolved homicide case features a call that came in as a traffic accident and turned into a homicide scene July 21. Christopher Johnson was the victim. He had been shot and killed.

Birmingham Police Chief A.C. Roper hopes someone comes forward to get justice for Johnson.

It was July when since Christopher Johnson was shot and killed. He was 44 yrs. old.

It was Sunday, July 21 shortly before 11 pm. Police were called to the 1100 block of John J. Eagan Drive on a traffic accident.

That's when they found a 2009 Chevrolet pickup truck in the back of the location that had struck a chain link fence. Johnson was slumped over in the driver's seat. He had been shot and killed.

Investigators need to know more details. Who's responsible for taking Johnson's life?
