Organizations team up to raise ovarian cancer awareness

Posted: Updated:

The Norma Livingston Ovarian Cancer Foundation and the Laura Crandall Brown Ovarian Cancer Foundation are joining forces to bring awareness to ovarian cancer during the month of September, National Ovarian Cancer Awareness month.  You will see reusable shopping bags printed with the signs and symptoms of ovarian cancer at local boutiques, salons, and hospitals throughout the Birmingham area.

"We are excited to be working together to further the fight against ovarian cancer," says Susan Greene, Executive Director of NLOCF.

A kick-off reception will be held on August 25 with both foundations in attendance.  If you would like bags to distribute at your place of business, please contact Cindi Routman at cindi@nlovca.org or Susan Downs at s.downs@thinkoflaura.org.
