Police arrested three people involved in an ongoing dispute that escalated into a stabbing and shooting Thursday at a Tuscaloosa apartment complex.

According to police, 27-year-old Shakiki Olanna Hill and 25-year-old Chadra Brown were involved in two separate altercations with a woman at the 200 building of Forrester Gardens Apartments shortly at 1 p.m. The first fight left a 33-year-old female victim suffering from a stab wound to the arm. After a failed attempt to stab the woman again, the two suspects left the location.

A few minutes after the stabbing, 33-year-old Javorris Connor arrived at the complex to retaliate and fired two shots into an apartment he believed contained one of the women involved in the stabbing. One of the bullets struck a 2-year-old boy, Broderick Hardy Jr., in the groin area. He was taken to Children's of Alabama in Birmingham, where he continues to be treated for injuries considered as non-life threatening.

The stabbing victim was taken to DDCH Regional Medical Center for treatment and was later released.

Hill, Connor and Brown were all arrested and are currently being held in the Tuscaloosa County Jail.

Investigators charged Connor with first-degree assault and discharging a firearm into an occupied building. His bond has been set at $75,000.

Hill was charged with attempted murder. Her bond was set at $20,000.

Brown was charged with second-degree assault and is being held on a $7,500 bond.

Tuscaloosa police continues to investigate.
