JEFFERSON COUNTY WELLS FARGO BANK ROBBERY:

Crime Stoppers needs more information on a man wanted for robbing the Wells Fargo in Center Point July 26. It happened shortly after 2 p.m., and pictures of the suspect are posted to the right of this story.

"Witnesses say a white male somewhere in his mid 40s or 50s wearing a blue Yamaha ball cap and a maroon or burgundy scrub shirt and blue jeans carrying a zippered bank bag walked into the Wells Fargo bank on the 2400 block of Center Point Parkway," said Jefferson County Detective Brian Allison.

The suspect handed the teller a note and left with cash.

"At Crime Stoppers, we've already gotten a couple of names in," added Sgt. Allison. "We need to go ahead and concrete some of those leads down, and we're looking for more information."
