MONTEVALLO - AL -

The Montevallo community is in mourning following the death of Austin Holsomback.

Holsomback died at UAB hospital after an ATV wreck last week. Family and friends gathered to remember him at Montevallo high school.

The 18 year old just passed away this morning. But through it all, Austin's family, friends and loved ones came together to remember him filling up the stands at the football field.

Today a vigil was held in his honor of Austin remembering him. Towards the end of the vigil the "Class of 2014" released 18 balloons. One for every year he was alive.

His parents, Bobby and Lisa Holsomback appreciate the community support but still shaken up over his death that happened this morning. Family and friends say Austin was respectful, adventurous and popular.
