A firefighter is rushed to the hospital after a blaze in north Tulsa.
The flames destroyed a vacant home near Pine and Utica early Thursday morning.
Firefighters arrived and quickly began pouring water onto the fully-involved fire. The warm night didn't help matters, as one of the fighters fell ill from heat exposure.
EMSA crews checked him out on scene and took him on to the hospital as a precaution. TFD told KTUL.com that he should recover after a bit of rest.
Investigators will now work to figure out the fire's cause.
