The Walker County Sheriff's Office and the Jasper Police Department are searching for two persons of interest in connection with last week's bomb threat that forced the evacuation of Walker Baptist Medical Center and the closure of roads and bridges.

Brandon Joseph Peake, 32, and Tamra Starr Files, 31, are wanted by law enforcement for questioning in regards to the bomb threat called in to the hospital on July 5. The caller also stated that bombs were on a bridge on Highway 69, which prompted police to close all roads between Walker and Cullman Counties.

After sweeps by law enforcement and three K9 units, no bombs or explosives were found and both the hospital and roads were reopened.

"While these are persons of interest at this point and we want to talk to them, we warn the public that they should not be approached." Jasper Police Chief Connie Rowe said at a news conference Wednesday.

Rowe said Peake and Files are possibly traveling in a 2010 black Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck with a personalized license plate reading "4PLAE".

Investigators believe that the two persons of interest are also wanted for questioning in connection with the robbery of Traders and Farmers Bank in Jasper. The bank was robbed on the same day the threats were made.

Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Peake and/or Files is asked to contact the Walker County Sheriff's Office at 205-302-6464 or Crime Stoppers at 205-254-7777.
