Two Edgewater men have been arrested and charged in connection with the shooting death of 25-year-old Gary Anthony Cade, Jefferson County Sheriff's Office said today.

Cade was found shot to death in a wooded area near the 4000 block of Gildersleeve Road June 25 after family members reported him missing five days earlier. Sheriff's detectives determined the victim, who family described as a transient, had been shot and killed after being robbed while riding in a car with two men he had known from the neighborhood.

Shortly after discovering the body, sheriff's detectives arrested Markus Timothy Curry, 21, and charged him with capital murder.

Kendarius Deandre Butler, 19, was arrested Monday morning and charged with capital murder.

Both men are being held in the Jefferson County Jail without bond.
